Bus and Tram Workers Records |
|
The History Buses and trams came into being in the early 1900's and provided local transport for most people until the prosperity of the 1960's saw an increase in private car ownership. What records can you find? The modern records centre at Warwick University maintain the archives of trade union records including the various bus and tram workers unions. * County Records Office and Local Museums both hold records of relevant firms and individuals. Searches should be made firstly by the individual persons name, then by the firms name and lastly by the trade.
